The rooms are great, I have only one complaint and it's the same for all GWL resorts - why are there no extra hooks in the bathroom or room anywhere? Only two in the bathroom and we have four swimsuits plus four towels to hang for drying. It's not a big deal, but it's confusing to me. This GWL is very large, but also very compact. The magic quest game is all on the same level which makes it easier, but more congested, for playing. The Dunkin is packed every morning, not worth waiting on, just go to the nearby Wawa. The mini golf course is located under the ropes course to save space which is very clever. Like I said, compact. I wish that they would install playgrounds at GWL resorts, whether inside or outside I didn't care. A playground would put them over the top for those of us with little kids. Three year olds are not so great at magic quest, bowling maybe, mini golf not really, the ropes course absolutely not, and the arcade can be hit or miss. A playground would make them that much more family friendly. Overall, worth it for a weekend and we will be back. The staff are all super friendly and it's clean. Way cleaner than the Hershey Lodge and definitely a better time, in my opinion. Love the themed rooms!

We arrived during the January 2026 snow storm. Immidately we check into our room at 9:30 am due to low occupancy. We changed and enjoy the water park all day. The kids enjoyed the craft time, games, story time and dance party before bed. I recommend the "Ultimate Food & Fun" package if your kids are over 5. My 5 year old was reluctant to do the ropes course, but enjoyed the mirror maze, mini golf, and bowling. The other kids 6, 7, and 11 did everything over and over. The food was good, prices on the high side but at least it is quality. When we were here, the resort was at 10% capacity and it was AMAZING! The staff was excellent. Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Always around. Our only concern so far was that an alarm clock in the room next to us was going off at 6:30 am and no one was in there so it continued for almost 30 min. Once the front desk was made aware, it was stopped Immidately. This was an amazing trip! Highly recommend!!

January 19, 2026 - We picked MLK holiday to visit G.W.Lodge with our Grandkids. . . they the park! Of course it’s packed, both the parking lot & water park . . . Just get in the groove and be positive! The staff is very supportive & positive! They might hire a few more folks at the poolside bar ! Felt bad for the 1 bar tender serving 3 to 4 hours of a never ending line Plenty of life guards around the slides, wave pool, lazy river, and crazy water sprinkle apparatus! Kids of all ages, having fun while under the watchful eye of their parents & grandparents! The water quality & facilities appeared clean & well maintained. I read on their website . . . all 20 parks in the U.S. and 1 in Ontario, Canada are closed once a year for cleaning & maintenance Lot’s of activities & opportunities for families to enjoy! *Water Park is the big draw *Bowling *Mini-Golfing *Arcade Games *Over-Head Ropes obstacle course *Magic Mystery Search ( need wand) *Dance Parties *Movie on Wolf Folklore *Ice Cream Parlor *Dunkin Donuts *Pizza place *Restaurants *Souvenirs & Toys everywhere! Discount Packages , Join *Wolf Pack *Paw Packs *Pup Pass *Day Pass to park Bring your money ! Depending on your group size, length of time/days, and extras you wish to purchase. . . You’ll drop about $1,000 a day! But as Grandparents we enjoyed every minute with our grandkids! We always love coming here and we do an extra activity every time we come. This time it was the arcade. My family had a blast in there. Pretty rewarding if you play the games with tickets. Claw machines, not so much. Room was clean, park was unexpectedly PACKED, but clean. The wave pool was shut down twice due to separate incidents. We at at the pizza place and inside the park. We like to share meals to make it more affordable. Staff was very helpful for a room mixup and just general questions. We will be back.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the water park restrooms, especially given the number (hundreds) of guests at the park. Our room was fine. There were a lot of activities to enjoy. Dinner was yummy — we had the roasted half chicken and Cobb chicken salad. We noticed the long check-in lines, luckily we didn’t experience any wait time using the kiosk. Very simple check in and check out process. We would definitely go back.

The trip was amazing from room, experience, dining. Prices are a bit high, but that’s really as expected nowadays. The waterpark was amazing. The thermostat said it was 88 degrees in the waterpark so it was very warm and the water was nice. Plenty of snack and food options and the climbing course is very worth it. The wolf passes are smart choices if you plan on doing it all. Would return.

Great family experience. Lots of fun playing, sliding "waving" in the water. Pricing of food is high. I'm told that's to be expected... Rooms are adequate. Flat sheets for both the bed and top sheet? Floor was not as clean as it should be. We were happy with layout of beds. We would come back.

Our first day in the water park was Friday from about 3 to 5. My 8 year old got pretty cold. The wave pool seemed to be the warmest. The lazy river could’ve been a little warmer. There are slides that end near the lazy river and that opening was legit cold. The life guards were super attentive on Friday and Saturday when we went for a second day of park fun. Our room was ready at about 3:30 though check in wasn’t officially until after 4. Our room was clean, however the water didn’t get very hot for the shower. I gave my son a bath and had to bring sink water(which was hotter) into the tub(with the ice bucket) to bring the temp up a bit. I will also request a 6th floor room the next time I come, as I heard running and stomping often from the room above us. The breakfast buffet was decent. The staff there were not very friendly, however every other staff member I encountered was super sweet and helpful. The pizza was pretty good too. A bottle of water was almost $5. Insane! Overall, we had a good time and will return knowing what adjustments to make.
